The simulated carbon fiber and flat-bottomed steering wheel were a little much, especially considering the SV lacks paddle shifters and customizable drive modes. The plush armrests, on the other hand, made cruising and sitting in traffic more bearable. Although the front seats can suit a wide range of body types, we found the lumbar support to be overbearing.
The spacious back seats were really comfy, with plenty of legroom. We were able to accommodate six carry-on bags in the trunk of the Altima and 17 bags total with the back seats folded. These figures were similar to those of the Camry we examined, but neither matched the Accord’s 19 bags. Unfortunately, the Nissan’s back seats do not fully fold flat and must be removed via the trunk handles.
