Toyota Prius 2023 Price in Pakistan. The Toyota Prius hatchback reaches its fifth generation this year, ushering in a new era. The Prius has finally been pupated into an appealing piece of sheet metal with a fuel-efficient powertrain buried inside after several modifications. The new Prius has up to 196 horsepower, the most ever offered by a Prius. Toyota forecasts that the front-wheel-drive variant will earn up to 57 mpg combined, which is also the best figure for a Prius.

A completely redesigned cabin welcomes a more traditional approach to the driver’s-space layout, with larger screens and a more enticing feature set that includes available heated rear seats. The new Prius has a lower roofline, a wider stance, and a lower seating position, which should make driving more enjoyable.

That shouldn’t be too difficult for the Prius: it just needs to outperform familiar rivals like the Hyundai Elantra Hybrid and the Toyota Corolla Hybrid. Toyota has not stated when the Prius will be available for purchase, but we anticipate it will be available in early 2023.

Toyota has incorporated a new 194-hp hybrid powertrain with optional all-wheel drive; Toyota claims it will be at least a couple of seconds faster to 60 mph while maintaining competitive fuel economy. Exterior

The Toyota Prius lineup is led by a single powerplant. This is a 194-horsepower hybrid system with a 2.0-litre hybrid inline-four gasoline engine derived from the Corolla Cross hybrid crossover and mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission. The conventional drivetrain is front-wheel drive. Toyota adds a high-output permanent magnet electric motor to the rear axle of all-wheel-drive Priuses, increasing overall powertrain output to 196 horsepower.

While the increased power of the AWD model is nearly unnoticeable, the 75-hp advantage of the new car over the previous model should be. The last-generation AWD Prius we tested reached 60 mph in 10.8 seconds, but Toyota claims the new powertrain will do so in 7.0 seconds. While we won’t be able to quantify it until we attach our test equipment to the new fifth-generation vehicle, the 2023 Prius appears to be the fastest Prius to date.

Interior

While the new fifth-generation Prius has a new appearance, the inside has remained conservative, with a more classic automobile cockpit. The Prius now includes a gauge cluster located behind the steering wheel for the first time. The new design affects the interior by lowering the roofline by 2.0 inches, and front passengers sit lower than before to influence a lower centre of gravity. The standard steering wheel is faux leather, but upgrading to the XLE or higher trim unlocks heated front seats, more cup holders for rear passengers, and rear heated seats.

Both the base and higher-level variants have larger screens than the previous model. The LE and XLE get a new 8.0-inch infotainment screen as standard, while the Limited gets a gigantic 12.3-inch touchscreen (or as optional equipment for the XLE). This system includes “Hey Toyota” voice control and uses over-the-air updates to update its infotainment over the cloud. The larger screen comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Wi-Fi.
