Hyundai Santa Cruz 2023 Price in Pakistan. The 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz may or may not qualify as a true pickup truck, but its striking style and handy cargo box are less contentious. Sure, there are mid-size trucks that can tow more—the Hyundai’s maximum towing capacity is 5000 pounds—and perform better in mud and on rocky terrain, but the Santa Cruz isn’t attempting to imitate those angry-looking, trail-eating, worksite-mule pickups.
Consider it a Hyundai Tucson compact SUV with a truck bed. They do, after all, share a platform and powertrains. The engine range comprises a 191-hp four-cylinder that is underpowered and an optional 281-hp turbo-four that boosts Santa Cruz’s performance.
While the weaker engine is available with front- or all-wheel drive, the burlier mill is only available with all-wheel drive and is only offered in the top two trim levels. The SEL Premium and Limited offer the greatest technology and the nicest interiors, but they sacrifice fewer physical controls for less-convenient touchscreen buttons and are significantly more expensive than the less expensive variants. Nonetheless, the 2023 Santa Cruz stands out for its blend of utility and a good driving personality.

Exterior
The Santa Cruz is available with two different powerplant options. The base engine is a 2.5-litre four-cylinder with 191 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. This entry-level engine, though, is best avoided based on the lethargic acceleration it offered the Tuscon crossover we examined. The new engine is a turbocharged 2.5-litre four with 281 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque.

Both engines are paired with eight-speed automatic transmissions, however, the turbo option is paired with a dual-clutch transmission. Both four-cylinder engines are available with all-wheel drive. Santa Cruz is shorter and lower than competitors in its sector, making it easier to manoeuvre around town. The truck’s smooth ride and quick handling were highlighted by the top-of-the-line Limited variant we rode.
Interior
The Santa Cruz boasts one of the most comfortable cabins among mid-size trucks. Hyundai has developed a habit of designing automobiles with appealing materials and desirable modern amenities that would be appropriate in more expensive vehicles. It’s the first truck in its class to include a fully digital gauge cluster, and we like how it has a classic shifter on the centre console rather than a cumbersome rotary knob or push-button configuration.

The Santa Cruz is only available with a four-door crew cab, and passenger capacity in the front and back is comparable to that of comparable-sized trucks. Its cargo bed, at around four feet long, is one of the shortest in the market, but it’s highly adaptable, with a lockable tonneau cover and a helpful in-bed trunk comparable to what the Honda offers.
