Pedal Assist Mode (Use pedal + throttle)
Press the ‘M’ button on the LCD panel to turn on the E-Cycle (motor). When the motor is turned on, the pedal-assist mode 1 is always selected (top-right corner of LCD display). To start the motor, pedal slowly at pedal assist level 1. When sufficient manual pedalling force is applied, the motor begins to help. Adjust the pedal aid mode from 1 to 5 (1-minimum assistance, 5-maximum assistance) with the Plus (+) and Minus (-) buttons, depending on the quantity of support required.
Full Throttle Mode (No manual pedalling)
Press the ‘M’ button on the LCD panel to turn on the E-Cycle (motor). From the default mode 1 (top-right corner of the LCD display), push the Minus (-) button to switch to full-throttle mode (no pedal assist) and control the speed with the throttle lever (manual accelerator). At this point, the top-right corner of the LCD would show Zero (0), indicating full throttle mode.
Manual Pedaling Mode
Your E-cycle can also be ridden in manual mode (pedal only) by simply deactivating the motor via the LCD panel by pushing the ‘M’ button.
Cycle Assembly & Installation
The E-Cycle is sent in 80 percent assembled form, with the exception of the front tyre, handle, and pedals, which must be assembled. The video on the video tab will walk you through the step-by-step process of assembling the E-Cycle. You could construct the cycle yourself using the Allen Key and Cone Wrench that came with the box, or you could take it to a nearby cycling shop; either way, final assembly would take around 20 minutes.
