Kia Rio 5-Door 2023 Price in Pakistan. The current-generation Rio debuted for the 2018 model year and has seen relatively minor updates since then, with the exception of a mild restyling for 2021. Because of the rising interest in crossovers and SUVs, many automakers are gradually phasing out of producing extra-small cars.
In fact, the Hyundai Accent, Rio’s corporate brother, was terminated for the 2023 model year. Kia hasn’t officially announced its plans for 2023, so we’ll presume the Rio will be around for another year. We hope so because the Rio is an excellent choice for a low-cost pair of wheels.

Exterior
On the road, the Rio is underpowered and unimpressive. The 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine produces only 120 horsepower, which is enough for city driving but requires full utilization on the interstate. Lane changes and overtakes require the most caution, and spaces that would be easy to exploit in other cars require more consideration to slot into due to Rio’s overall lack of punch. The one saving grace has to be its continuously variable automatic transmission, which is smooth and does an admirable job of maximizing Rio’s available power.

The Rio’s soft suspension setup and nearly gripless all-season tyres make zipping around city streets a chore. The steering has an elastic feel to it and is far too eager to recenter itself. The Rio is a car that is happiest at half speed, which is likely more than enough for its intended demographic.
Interior
Durable plastics cover a sparse interior, but the Rio’s strength is its simplicity. It’s easy to use, with clearly laid out physical climate controls and easy-to-read dials. It’s also pretty simple to look out of the cabin in all directions and, despite being one of the smallest cars on the market, it’s relatively large inside.

The reduced driving posture has to be one of our greatest issues about the interior. Taller drivers will feel compelled to sit too near to the pedals because the steering wheel does not telescope. We recognize that cheap cars aren’t known for their luxurious interiors, but we’d gladly pay a little extra for some of the basic creature amenities that would make commuting less painful.
