
Mahindra Thar Roxx Price in Pakistan, Specs & Features. Mahindra and Mahindra, the country’s largest sports utility vehicle maker, has no immediate plans to export the newly released 5-door Thar ROXX, according to Rajesh Jejurikar, CEO & Executive Director (auto & farm) at Mahindra & Mahindra.
According to Jejurikar, the company would initially target the domestic market.
“At this point, we are expecting to be pretty full of meeting domestic requirements for some point in time, so we have no plans on exports,” Jejurikar told reporters.

The business unveiled the five-door edition of its renowned Thar, the Thar ROXX, at a starting price of Rs 12.99 lakh, to compete in the mid-compact SUV sector. According to Jejurikar, the newly introduced model would help them boost sales in the mid-SUV market. With the introduction of Thar ROXX, the business expects Thar Brand to take the lead in the above Rs 12.5 lakh segment.

The company has a 19.1% volume market share, second only to Maruti Suzuki, but leads in revenue with a 21.4% market share in the SUV sector. The business has spent Rs 1,000 crore in Thar ROXX.
The company intends to produce 6,500 Thar units every month.
“Everything we do is geared towards maintaining volume momentum, which leads to lower costs, increased supplier involvement, enthusiastic dealers, and a motivated workforce. So, it is an ecosystem. It charges up as you gain volume momentum. So, for us, momentum, or moat, is built through volume, which is what is assisting us in obtaining cost,” said Jejurikar.
The SUV manufacturer is also betting on Thar ROXX’s “mainstay appeal” to take the lead in the Rs 12.5 lakh segment. “It’s (Thar ROXX) just going to get the appeal from multiple sub-segments and will create its growth path,” Jejurikar added.
“You will see two portions. The Thar ROXX is also unique in that it can be the only automobile in the house because it is a reliable product. So it could be the first car or the entire thing. It may even be one car. This three-door was usually used as a second automobile or by young couples who just wanted to have one. However, this can apply to both portions. So many segments open up because it enters the mainstream, as we just mentioned, urban and rural,” added Jejurikar.
